What We Believe
We believe that the whole Bible is the authoritative Word of God . It contains all that people, at any age, need to know for their salvation.
We believe that God created the world, the fall of mankind, and the work of redemption revealed in the Old and New Testaments.
We believe in the Virgin Birth, the Trinity, and the Second Coming of Christ.
Three creeds adopted by the worldwide church centuries ago summarize the most important tenants of our faith. The Apostles Creed, the Nicene Creed, and the Athanasian Creed.
The Heidelberg Catechism is an historic confession that beautifully outlines a Reformed perspective of faith.
We believe in the sovereignty of God, the Kingdom of God, as expressed in the covenant of Grace promised to all who believe.

What CRC Means
Westview is a congregation in a denomination called the Christian Reformed Church.
The name "Christian" means that we believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God who died for our sins and is the Savior of the world. We live in gratitude in our life and worship because of His free gift of grace and mercy.
"Reformed" means that we have our beginning in the Protestant Reformation that began in Europe in the 1500s. We emphasize the Bible as the true Word of God and that all of life comes under the reign and rule of Christ.
We have a strong desire to reach and serve our community with the love of Jesus.
We strive to create joyful, God-honoring worship services which energize and equip us to serve others.
We desire to be filled and led by the Holy Spirit.
